Nail Trimming
Regular nail trims (nail clipping & Dremel available) can prevent damage to your dog and your floors! When a dog’s nails are too long they can create pain and pressure on the toe joints.
Anal Gland Expression
Some pets never develop an anal gland problem while others have lifelong issues requiring periodic expression. If you notice your dog scooting his butt on the floor, chasing his tail, or cats/dogs repeatedly licking/chewing around their rectum or a particularly stinky odor emanating from the area, they may need to have their anal glands expressed.
Ear Cleaning
Ear infections are very common, especially here in Arizona where dogs like to swim in our pools, rivers and lakes to escape the heat. Dogs that suffer from allergies are very likely to suffer from ear infections. Regular ear cleaning can prevent the build up of bacteria or yeast and may help stop painful ear infections developing.
Sanitary Trims
Clipping a dog’s genital area, as well as the area around the anus, to maintain hygiene requires great care and the right tools! Some dogs may never require such a trim but other long haired breeds can get rather messy when they take care of business!
