The Compassionate Animal Care team in Queen Creek, AZ, formally Schelle Veterinary Services, understands how important our patients are to their human parents. You want a veterinarian who will treat your pet like they're part of the family…because they really are. You want only the very best for your animals, and so do we. Rest assured that we feel the same way about your pets as you do.
Every family, every pet, is different; each with their own anxieties, issues or pressures. That's why we offer two ways to access our services. Either you can come to our place, or we will come to yours!
Having our own clinic allows our team to offer more timely services to our patients; including certain veterinary services that simply can't be performed in the home environment.
It can be difficult for some clients to make it to us with their pets. That's why we continue to offer the best possible mobile veterinary care to patients in the comfort of their own home.
Dr. Lora Schelle is excited to expand our services to include a new veterinary office in Queen Creek; in addition to Dr. Schelle's mobile vet service, she and her team now offers a full suite of wellness, surgical and outpatient services for your pets at our own QC clinic.
This addition means that we now have access to our own surgical suite and diagnostic equipment; for our patients that means quicker access for critical pet surgeries, dental extractions, and certain outpatient procedures, as well as in-house blood work and diagnostics.
Dr. Schelle has been a mobile vet for several years, serving patients in their own homes in Queen Creek, Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, San Tan Valley and beyond. Dr. Schelle continues to provide mobile veterinary services, but now with her own team providing clinic-based support. In-home vet care is perfect if your pet doesn't travel well, gets anxious about clinic visits, or because you just don't have time to get to us! If you have questions about our in-home vet service, or would like more information, or wish to schedule a mobile vet appointment, please call our dedicated mobile vet services number – 602.359.2031.
We also offer in-home pet euthanasia services to help make you and your fur-baby as comfortable as possible when that difficult day comes.

This is my first time using a mobile Veterinarian. Dr. Schelle is friendly, caring, and very gentle with my pets! Her assistant is also gentle in restraining my babies. I will definitely call them again when I need them. They were on time, had everything needed for the treatment of my pets.”

“I’ve been taking my fur babies to Dr. Schelle for 7 years. One of my dogs is very fear aggressive and Dr. Schelle is the only vet that really understands her, works with her properly, and does absolutely amazing with her! She’s the only vet I truly trust with my dogs…and my dogs trust her. You can tell she really cares about the well-being of the animals. I absolutely recommend her and her team to everyone.”

“Dr. Schelle is great. Having 4 cats and a dog can make vet visits a nightmare. Her coming out and doing a house visit makes everything so easy. Her technician is wonderful too. All the animals are calm and seem to enjoy their interaction with Dr. Schelle.”

December is full of holiday jollies, with celebrations and gatherings, good food, and good cheer. But nothing can spoil a holiday like an emergency trip to your vet. Here are a few tips to keep them safe.

We at Compassionate Animal Care continue to strive to provide the best care possible for your pets while keeping our clients and staff health safety in mind. This being said, we will continue to provide curbside care for all routine preventative care, technician appointments, and regular monitoring of our existing patients. New clients will be allowed to come in to the clinic for the first visit (with a mask on and no symptoms of upper respiratory issues) so that we may meet and discuss care going forward. When you arrive for an appointment, please call 480.774.6995 to check in.
We are still offering our normal mobile vet service, including wellness appointments, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Please call our mobile services number 602.359.2031 to schedule your in-home appointment. Please note that we are asking people about their health status, exposure, and if they have any symptoms. We are wearing masks to all visits, and ask our clients to also wear a mask. If any symptoms are present, we are only seeing pets if absolutely necessary, staying minimum of 6 feet away, and preferably staying outside or in a garage, etc.
AS OF JANUARY 1 ST 2022, we will no longer be calling in, faxing (we never had a fax anyway!), or emailing in prescriptions to outside pharmacies. This includes Chewy, 1800petmeds, Fry’s, Costco, Walmart, etc. Due to long waits on hold to the pharmacies, short staffing of pharmacies, and the large number of mistakes made by these pharmacies in client communication, it is taking us too long and taking away from our patient care. Instead, we will be offering the following ways to fill your prescriptions:
We are making these protocol changes to ensure that our patients and our clients stay healthy and happy in the New Year. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding. As always, if you have any questions, contact us online or call Compassionate Animal Care at 480.774.6995
Thank you and Best Wishes,
Dr. Schelle, and the staff of Compassionate Animal Care
